I am a licensed psychiatrist specializing in the evaluation, treatment, and management of mental illness and mental health. As a solo private practice, I am able to offer individualized, attentive focus on each patient's unique difficulties — and, where helpful, to incorporate psychotherapy in pursuit of an improved quality of life and restoration.
My care follows a bio-psycho-social model: I consider the biological, psychological, spiritual, and social aspects of your well-being together, rather than in isolation. Depending on your needs and goals, a plan may include nutrition, exercise, sleep hygiene, meditation, light therapy, supplements, and/or medication. I emphasize rational, evidence-based prescribing.
Care is delivered primarily by secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth video to residents of Louisiana and California, with in-person visits available in Zachary, Louisiana on an as-needed basis. With your consent, I am glad to coordinate with your primary care physician or therapist so that everyone supporting you is working from the same plan.
